Thank You Johnny ? Forget The Pain And South Bend Pain ...

Jonathan Chapman otherwise known as Johnny Appleseed. ??Jonathan Chapman was a real person and he lived from 1774?until?1845.

He was a?nurseryman and?really?did spread the apple tree around the early American?frontier. ? He died on March 18, 1845 at the age of 70 in ?Fort Wayne, Indiana?where he was laid to rest.

The fruit has been around for thousands of years in Asia and Europe and brought to the Americas by the?European?Colonists. ?Today China and the USA produce the most.

This is the time for apples and the Gala?variety I have been getting at my local farmers market are the best. ?I have had a?taste?for apples of late?and the ones from the?grocery do not?compare?to the?locally?grown from the?farmers?market. ?Crispy and sweet. ?I wish I could share one with you!
